Past work
In Kuantan now, and on the way to this place, I scanned through my past work. (yes, we brought the laptop and I was using it in the car) and I came across this piece that I wrote 2 years ago. I think.
Upon furthur reading, I recall writing this for the school magazine, as something more mild, compared to my Alice in Wonderland. Enjoy.
Being short. (couldn't think of a better title, and yes, I know its lame)
I’m sure you have heard, of the old tale,
About Thumbelina, who was on sale,
And how an old woman, who went unnamed,
Took care of her, until she became,
A blossoming woman, albeit a tad short,
But she met her prince charming, and tall she was not.
So you see my dear readers, height never matters,
Being short will not stop, incoming love letters.
So whatever it is, be proud of your height,
After all, it is said, that love has no sight.
Ps: I'm really proud of all my invitation members! Good job! :DD
