Happy Chinese New Year!!!
Its the new year ppl! Hope you're having/going to have a great day of collecting those red packets! For some reason, my 'new post' spot does not allow me to
colourise my letters, so it'll be mostly black and white from now on. :(
First off, reunion dinner. Wa liao. Fastes 9 course dinner I've
ever had. O.O No exegeration there. I mean, we were given a time slot and all. And some dishes came together, which DOES NOT happen when its a course dinner. Ish. Didn't have time to fully enjoy the foood la. Booo.. Here's what we had
1. Yee Sang
2. Shark Fin soup
3. Roast piglet
4. Some sort of 4 seasons, I guess
5. Mushrooms, and abalone and brocolli and tau fu-like stuff in brown sauce
6. Fried rice
7. Steamed fish
8. Peanut mochi
9. Tong Sui
Wa liao. Oh! And I finnaly saw my little nephew, *proud* Daniel! Hahaha. He's gonna break hearts one day, I know it! Hehehe. Because of the time constraint, we finished eating at like 7.00pm I think. So my mum, sis, and I went shopping at lot 10, Isetan! Hahaha. My dad dropped us off after the dinner and went back with my bro (later we found out that they went out too-to cold storage, sneakyyy)
Anyhow... I managed to buy a dress!! *squels* Its a soda, and more importantly, it was 70% off! Woot! Totally last minute shopping. The announcers were practically shoo-ing us out!. hahaha XD
Announcer: We are closing at 8.00pm, due to the Chinese New Year celebrations. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused. Thank You *enter elavator music*
Sophia: I wonder which anklet looks better.... hmmmmm
Salesperson: *silent*
Mom: The red looks good. Now get the dress and we're off.
------after buying-------
Salespeople: Thank you, Happy Chinese New Year! Good night! (1st time I received so much attention from the staff wei! Like, almost everyone was greeting us on the way out)
Then when it was time to go back, we had to take a taxi, and aiyyooo, got people want to ketuk us la. RM 35 to go back to JINJANG. Wa liao. It only takes about like RM 10++ la. Ish, Some people arr. So we jalan jalan some more until we met a few others who also said the same thing, and
finally we managed to find a cab that was bermeter punya. Hehehe. And at first I was kinda scared, cos I find men with beards a lil scary, but the guy was actually really friendly. *an EYE-OPENER* He used to be a lorry driver, but as he said; "tukar occupation sikit, tak kuat lagi" haha. Something along those lines la.
So that was my CNY eve. More eventful than I thought it would be. Oh. And I couldn't hear any fire-crackers. Guess I was in pretty deep sleep. *yawns*
Ciao!
